(Goal 4) PERPETUAL SELF-RELIANT COMMUNITY

Resolution Statement :
As agents of transformation, the SCC Cells shall be independent of parish financial resources, ensuring continuity and being examples of responsibility to the larger community.
a) While all secs shall coordinate and cooperate with the Parish Priest or his delegate, they shall be self-reliant and self-sustaining finan ciall y, and not being dependent on the priests/ religious only.
b) All meetings shall have regular reporting, evaluation and record keeping. SCCs must have on-going formation/ animation.
c) Shall devise means to be financially secure.
d) All SCCs will have one group animator . From among these animators, two members shall be identified as representatives of the Parish on the Diocesan Service Team (DST).

Important because:
Even if an involved Parish Priest is transferred, the task in hand of bringing the people back to God through SCC should not stop. Hence, the good work must not be dependent on the new Parish Priest but continue perpetually despite any changes.
